Feeling safe at home should be a feeling that is granted to us all. Inside our homes we should be entitled to relax and enjoy spending time with our loved ones and of course, sleep soundly. Sadly, with intruders who are keen to enter properties for their own benefit, this is not always felt by all.
We received a call from a new customer who made an enquiry about an alarm system for his home as a recent spate of burglaries that occurred very close to his home, made him and his family feel very insecure. What we knew is that the intruders were known to be entering at the rear of properties which backed on to woodland behind the row of houses.
We visited the property to complete a free survey where we discussed the requirements of the customer and talked through the recent incidents. During the survey we completed a walk round which identified the vulnerable areas and points of entry and talked to the customer about how they were feeling and their main concerns.
Further information from the customer included how he has had sleepless nights due to the thought of intruders entering while his family were sleeping. The family also wanted a security system that would act as a deterrent for potential intruders.
